The Seed Pod on DVD

The American Hibiscus Society was founded in 1950 in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA, by a group of commercial growers who were also hybridizers of tropical hibiscus.  The main focus of this group was Nomenclature.  They recognized the need to create an official Hibiscus rosa-sinensis registration process to provide breeding information to future generations of hybridizers.
By 1956, the group had grown into an organized Society with membership meetings and a sporadically published bulletin to keep the members informed.  This bulletin evolved into the quarterly full-color magazine it is today…The Seed Pod.
