Bob Carran, chairman of the Seed Bank |
|
In the last 20 years, the American Hibiscus Society's Seed Bank has sent out over 150,000 seeds to people in as many as 75 countries. Each group of seeds that is sent includes the parentage, when possible, and instructions on how to germinate and raise to maturity. Most of these are from pods on Bob's own plants, but he is always interested in building his seed supply. Bob would be delighted to get any surplus seeds from anyone, either from within the U.S. or from outside the country. Tropical hibiscus seeds only and please pack in bubble-wrap or equivalent to make certain that they survive the mail.
